The Shadow Within 30 x 40

While making this piece I focused on my inner demons. I suffer from a lot of anxiety and depression as well as not knowing who I am. My family does not have a written history so I am left with a lot of questions about who I really am and where I come from . This shadow is the closest object I have to show what and who I am.

The Meltdown 30 x 40

The Meltdown is inspired by my anxiety. Everything is heightened and red when my anxiety glasses are on. Nothing seems correct and everything feels like it’s on fire. Everything becomes so blurred I can barely see.
